This book is divided into three parts:

1. An account of the linguistic geography and history of South-East Asia
2. Alphabet and Pronunciation. The Thai script and romanization used in the book
3. Grammar. Includes classifiers, terms of address, demonstrative pronouns and adjectives, numerals, verbs and adverbs, question formation etc.
